DESCRIPTION

Williamsburg Reproductions, Craft House in Williamsburg, Virginia sold high quality reproductions of antiques belonging to the foundation to raise funds for restorations at Colonial Williamsburg.

Two crystal rolled edge hurricane shades manufactured by Royal Leerdam in Leerdam, Holland. The shades were based on a design which was used in the second floor of the governors mansion. Both shades are 9 ½ inches tall with a 3 ¼ inch outside diameter at the bottom, the model number is cw 8. Information for the shades was found in vintage Williamsburg Reproductions catalogs.

The hurricane shades are unmarked and have been discontinued

CONDITION

The hurricane shades are in good vintage condition, there are no chips or cracks.

SHIPPING

The shades will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the pieces will be insured for the sold price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for.
