DESCRIPTION

A vintage tole chinoiserie cachepot, probably from the 1950’s-1960’s. The cachepot has a black tin base with painted depictions of asian landscapes. Probably made in Italy or France. The cachepot stands approximately 7 3/8 inches tall and 5 5/8 inches in diameter. There are no maker or country of origin marks on the piece.

CONDITION

The cachepot is in good vintage condition. There is some paint loss throughout the piece, some rusting on the outside with moderate rusting in the inside. Very charming, shows well.
