DESCRIPTION

Mid 1960’s Scandinavian / mid century modern wastebasket designed by Jens Risom. The wastebasket is composed of stained walnut plywood and plastic, model number 09214. The wastebasket measures approximately 14 inches tall and 12 inches in diameter. This example is not marked with a Risom sticker on the bottom, but is identical to other documented marked waste baskets.

CONDITION

The waste basket is in good vintage condition, there are some nicks along the top edge and bottom, the inside and outside have some bruises, scratches and discolorations. The plywood has slightly edged on the bottom and the plastic bottom is in good condition. The waste basket has been cleaned, waxed and presents very well.

SHIPPING

The waste basket will be carefully packed using bubble wrap and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the piece will be insured for the sold price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for.
