DESCRIPTION

A John Hutton (American, 1947-2006) for Donghia (American, founded 1968) "Rafaela" table lamp, designed in the 1980’s. The lamp has a custom patinated bronze finish with a matching final. Two light sockets with pull chains supported on a paneled hexagonal shaft with black finish above a sculptural biomorphic bulbous base in patinated bronze with a slanted plinth base. Overall approximate height is 30 ¼ inches, the base is 5 inches square. The lamp is not marked, but is obviously a Donghia design. The lamp shade is not included in the sale.

CONDITION

The lamp is in good vintage condition. The body of lamp has some indentations and indented scratches, but the body has been touched up with paint and is not really noticable. The cord and plug have been replaced. The final has been replaced along with the lamp shade lifter.

SHIPPING

The lamp will be shipped using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a heavy card board box. Shipment via Federal Express Ground, the item will be insured for it’s sale price and the item will have to be signed for upon delivery.
