DESCRIPTION
40 pieces, 8 - 5 piece place settings of stainless steel and blue anodized aluminum cutlery. Designed by David Tisdale (American, Born 1956) for Sasaki in 1986. The Post Modern design is called Elektra Blue. The cutlery was manufactured in Japan, each piece is fully marked. The 40 pieces consists of:
8 Dinner Forks - 6 7/8"
8 Salad Forks - 6 1/8
8 Soup Spoons - 6 5/8
8 Teaspoons - 5 7/8
8 Knives - 8"
Elektra Blue cutlery is scarcely found, especially in large sets.
CONDITION
All the pieces are in good vintage condition, there are some flea bite nicks on some of the handles. Some of the anodized aluminum handles are lighter than others. A few of the stainless steel aspects have light staining. Some of the anodized handles have light staining, especially near the rear revets. All pieces have been through light, ordinary use. Please note photographs carefully as they are part of the description and condition of the cutlery.
SHIPPING
The cutlery will be carefully packed using bubble wrap and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the piece will be insured for the sales price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for upon arrival.
