Manuella Minimalist Painting
Manuella Minimalist Painting
DESCRIPTION
A painting in the minimalist style painted by Manuella in 1970. The painting is very much three dimensional and consists of a fiberglass form on a wooden stretcher, the fiber glass is covered with canvas, the paint appears to be acrylic. The painting is very much in the style of minimalist painter Frank Stella from his protractor series (1967 - 1971) painters which were painted around the late 1960's. The painting is very well executed and shows very well. The painting is 36 inches in height, 32 inches in width and projects outward on the left side to approximately 6 1/2 inches. The painting is flat on the right side, then traveling to the left side the surface projects outward. The painting is signed "Manuella 70" on the right side, I can find no information on the artist.
CONDITION
The painting is in very good vintage condition. The painting is structurally sound, there is some slight paint loss throughout.
