DESCRIPTION

Vintage sterling silver bowl as a stylized leaf with a raised central ridge, topped with an open circular scroll stem and smaller leaves, raised on two circular feet. The leaf is marked "Tiffany & Co / Makers / Sterling / 22885 M". Apparently the markings denote the bowl was designed and made during the directorship of Louis de Bian Moore, 1947–1955, so the bowl was probably designed during this time frame. The bowl is approximately 6 inches in length, 4 1/8 inches at its widest and 7/8 inches tall. The bowl weighs 128 grams.

CONDITION

The bowl is in good vintage condition, moderate fine scratches through out due to years of use, There are some deeper scratches inside the bowl of the leaf, but really aren't noticable. No dents or bends.

SHIPPING

The bowl will be carefully packed using bubble wrap and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the pieces will be insured for the sold price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for.
