DESCRIPTION

A vintage solid brass and blown glass sconce designed by Tommi Parzinger. Dorlyn Silversmiths made both mass produced and custom pieces for Tommi Parzinger. The sconce is not in the Dorlyn Silversmith catalog, yet the componenets are signature Tommi Parzinger. I am assuming the sconce was a custom design and is very rare. The sconce is not marked. The sconce has a commanding size measuring approximately 21 1/4 inches tall, the back plate is 5 inches wide / the top of the globe is 6 inches wide and extends 10 1/2 inches in from the wall. The original protective coating has been removed from the brass, the brass has been polished with a new protective coating.

CONDITION

The sconce is in good vintage condition. There are some slight dimples on the front plate of the wall plate. There are chips on the base of the globe, but the chips cannot be seen once installed into the brass wall plate and there is a slight imperfection on the outside bottom of the globe.

SHIPPING

The sconce will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the piece will be insured for the sold price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for.
