DESCRIPTION

Wedgwood black basalt jardiniere, made in England around 1900. The jardiniere has a floral banded border above fruiting grapevine festoons terminating at lion masks and rings with Muses below. Rare large size measuring 9 inches tall and 9 7/8 inches in diameter. Embossed "Wedgwood" on the bottom.

CONDITION

The jardiniere is in good vintage condition. There are some slight dicolorations on the outside, moderate discoloration on the outside bottom (which can't be seen when up right). The inside bottom has some watermarks. There is a factory flaw smooth chip on the bottom lip, there are no other chips or cracks.

SHIPPING

The jardiniere will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the piece will be insured for the sold price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for.
