DESCRIPTION

Vintage French bouillotte style lamp, consisting of a brass / bronze base containing two candlesticks probably from the 1920's to 1930's, the base is marked "Pairpoint" with the model number "E3003". The art glass shade has been lost, the lamp has been slightly modified for a vintage tole lamp shade. The base must be quite rare, research indicates no other examples. The lamp stands approximately 19 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 2 inches deep, the base is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The tole shade is 8 1/4 inches in diameter at the top, 11 1/4 inches at the bottom and 5 1/2 inches tall.

CONDITION

The lamp is in good vintage condition, some irregularities from over 100 years of use. The shade has a slight dent on the top edge, some discolorations on the outside, the base has some fine scratches and patina. Presents very well as an antique. New stem hardware for the vintage shade. The light sockets and candle covers have been replaced with a taller size. The lamp has new sockets and insulators, all new wiring, a new switch and a new twisted nylon cord and new vintage inspired plug.

The lamp will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the piece will always be insured for the sold amount, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for upon arrival if the value is over $100.00.
