DESCRIPTION
A heavy solid bronze high quality table lamp or wall lamp. No markings on the lamp, but probably American dating from the first quarter of the 20th century. The lamp and socket have its original patina. The socket, insulator, twisted cord, globe holder and vintage inspired plug are replacements. The shade is of the period of the lamp, but is a vintage replacement by Steuben, which is a beautiful art glass Gold Aurene. As a table lamp, from the bottom to the top of the shade, measures approximately 13 ½ inches tall, 6 ½ inches deep and 4 inches wide. As a wall lamp, the lamp is 13 ½ inches tall, 8 inches from the wall and 4 inches wide. The shade has a Steuben mark on the bottom, the lamp is unmarked.
CONDITION
The lamp works and is in good vintage condition, the bronze has its original patina. there is very light scratching through out. The shade is in very good condition, some slight chipping at the base which would never be scene attached to the lamp.
SHIPPING
The lamp will be shipped using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a heavy card board box. Shipment via Federal Express Ground, the item will be insured for it’s sale price and the item will have to be signed for upon delivery.
