DESCRIPTION
A vintage brass industrial floor lamp from the early part of the 20th century. The lamp was manufactured by The Pacific Electric Company probably around 1910 to 1920, the company was located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The neck of the lamp can be extended to a higher height. The lamp base, neck and the socket cover have been cleaned and has it’s original patina. The lamp has a new socket insulator, a new vintage inspired shade holder, a new switch on the cord, a vintage porcelain enameled shade of the period but not original, a new twisted cord and a vintage inspired plug. The lamp measures approximately 32 inches tall, the base is 8 inches in diameter, the lamp extended is 49 inches tall. The lamp is marked on the bottom.
CONDITION
The lamp works and is in good vintage condition. There is moderate fine scratches through out, some slight discolorations and some dents on the top of the base. The socket switch is original, but may be best to use the switch on the cord. There is a little porcelain loss on the shade near the holder. The lamp is a little less stable when extended.
SHIPPING
The lamp will be shipped using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a heavy card board box. Shipment via Federal Express Ground, the item will be insured for it’s sale price and the item will have to be signed for upon delivery.
